Who We Are
Wicomico Day School is a private, independent school located in Salisbury, Maryland.  Our mission is to provide strong traditional education in a warm, friendly environment stressing family involvement.  We offer programs for children ages six weeks through eighth grade.

Days of Operation
 Wicomico Day School is open Monday through Friday year round with the exception of the following holidays:
  • Thursday and Friday prior to the start of school in September
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the day after
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day
  • Good Friday and the Monday after Easter
  • Memorial Day
  • 2 Professional Days (Elementary and Middle School)
  • Independence Day 
If one of these holidays falls on a Saturday, we will be closed the prior Friday.  If one of these holidays falls on Sunday, we will be closed on Monday. 

Inclement Weather
In case of severe inclement weather, every effort is made to remain open.  If the school will be delayed or closed due to treacherous road conditions, the following television stations will be notified:
  • WBOC – Channel 16                           
  • WMDT – Channel 47
A message will also be posted on this website and current families will be notified via email.
