Carson McCue is the Kindergarten Assistant at WDS. He is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Salisbury University and has been working with children for the past three years. Carson enjoys being part of the Kindergarten classroom and is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for future success.

Jennifer graduated from Salisbury University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in communications. She has been at WDS for almost 20 years and is currently teaching Kindergarten in Room G.  She is also a certified children’s yoga instructor and has taught continuing education courses through the LSCCRC.

Maggie Moore is an alumna of Wicomico Day School and holds a deep appreciation for the values, community, and formative experiences she gained during her elementary and middle school years. Returning to WDS as an educator is a meaningful opportunity for her to give back to the school that played such an important role in her early development.

Although her academic background is in social work, having earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Salisbury University, Maggie's professional journey has provided numerous opportunities to mentor and support children and families from diverse backgrounds. As a teacher, she is passionate about investing in the lives of her students, just as others once invested in hers.

Tara Rhock is a First Grade teacher who has been teaching first grade since 2022 and has been a valued member of the Wicomico Day School community since 2013. She holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and is passionate about helping young learners grow academically and socially.

Tara is also the proud mother of a daughter who currently attends third grade at WDS. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and family.

Lauren Morris is a First Grade teacher and the proud mother of a loving and adventurous young daughter. She chose to become a teacher because of her passion for making a lasting difference in students' lives and helping to mentor the next generation. Lauren values the creativity and flexibility that teaching provides, viewing every lesson as a blank canvas and every day as an opportunity to create a new and meaningful learning experience for her students.

Brandi Houlihan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University with a major in Elementary Education. She has been employed at Wicomico Day School for over 20 years, where she has taught K4, First, and Second Grade. Brandi Houlihan resides in Fruitland, Maryland, with her husband, Mark, her son, Quinn, and her daughter, Delaney. 

Cindy Brown is a Second Grade teacher who has been dedicated to the field of education for 40 years. She knew she wanted to become a teacher at the age of seven and has spent her career helping students learn, grow, and succeed.

Cindy is married and has three grown children, including two sons and a daughter. She also shares her home with four cats and one dog. In her free time, Cindy enjoys reading, singing, and spending time at home with her family.

Tammy Bailey joined Wicomico Day School in 1999 after earning her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson State University. Inspired by her own first-grade teacher, Mrs. Reagar, Tammy knew from the age of six that she wanted to become a first-grade teacher.

One of her greatest joys is watching students accomplish something they once thought they could not do. Seeing their pride and growing confidence makes every day rewarding. Throughout her career, Tammy has taught first through fourth grade and continues to find fulfillment in helping children learn, grow, and reach their potential.

Melissa Wise has been a dedicated member of the Wicomico Day School faculty for 23 years. Throughout her time at WDS, she has taught K4, Kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and her current and favorite grade level, fourth grade. Her favorite subjects to teach are History and Literature, where she enjoys helping students develop a love of learning and exploration.

Outside the classroom, Melissa enjoys traveling and hiking with her family. Together, they have set a goal of visiting every national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of her favorite adventures was exploring Ireland from coast to coast. In her free time, she also enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her Miniature Pinscher, Vern

Kelsey Naissant was born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn and Boston. He is a graduate of UMass Boston and a U.S. Navy veteran. Kelsey and his wife recently relocated to Salisbury from Texas and are excited to be part of the local community. He is thrilled to join Wicomico Day School as the new Fifth Grade teacher and looks forward to inspiring and supporting his students throughout the school year.
