Wicomico Day School: A Core Knowledge School

Wicomico Day School is proud to be an officially approved Core Knowledge School. Our curriculum provides students with a strong, coherent foundation of learning that builds from year to year, ensuring steady academic growth and development. The Core Knowledge Sequence is followed for children ages 3 and up, with modifications made for our 2-year-olds to meet their developmental needs.

Our programs are also fully licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education. Educational programs for ages 5 through middle school are accredited by the Office of Non-Public Accreditation (License #3494). In addition, our preschool, before- and after-school care, and summer enrichment programs are licensed by the Child Care Division of the Maryland State Department of Education.
