“Our family has had three children at WDS, with our youngest currently in 1st grade. The level of care and love starts in early childhood and continues all the way through their school years. We can’t say enough about the incredible men and women who have cared for our children, shown them love and guidance, and enriched their education.
Our kids have developed a true love of learning, and we’ve found a wonderful community among the other families. There are so many opportunities to get involved and connect, and WDS has been such a blessing to our family.”

“I have worked at WDS for 28 years. I enjoy coming to work each day to help the children in my class learn and grow into strong, independent thinkers. When you hear stories of their successes in the older grades, see how they've become professionals in our community, or watch a former student enroll their own child here, it’s the greatest feeling. It reminds me how impactful and important our work is to the community.
My own children attended WDS from the three-year-old program through eighth grade. WDS laid a strong foundation in learning and character that served them well in high school and beyond. As both a teacher and a parent, I am proud of the work we do at Wicomico Day School."

“Starting my position at Wicomico Day School was both exciting and overwhelming, but one of the greatest blessings during the transition was partnering with an exceptional coworker, Ms. Michaela B.W., who made a tremendous difference in my experience.
From day one, she encouraged me, helped me understand expectations, and welcomed me with patience, kindness, and genuine support. What stood out the most was her consistency — she was dependable, professional, and always willing to step in without making me feel judged or inexperienced. Working alongside her helped me feel connected, valued, and capable.”

“I love sending my child to Wicomico Day School. The teachers are amazing, and they keep me updated on everything going on. Everyone is so welcoming, and the administrators are wonderful — every morning they greet us with big smiles and make us feel like family. I truly love Wicomico Day School, and I’m so glad I chose this school for my child.”
The Wharton Family
“From the moment we walked through the doors at WDS when our son was two, this school has felt like family. The teachers and administrators truly care for every student who walks the halls.
Our son is now in middle school and has received a top-notch education through the amazing curriculum and dedicated teachers. WDS goes above and beyond by keeping the curriculum challenging, engaging, and fun. As parents, we feel heard, informed, and involved, which means so much to us. Wicomico Day School will always have a special place in our hearts.”
