
Gail Drummond has been working in the field of education for 29 years. She has wanted to be a teacher since she was in second grade. Working with children brings her great joy, especially when she sees their faces light up as they grasp a new concept.
Gail holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is certified as a Reading Specialist. Her passion for education and commitment to student learning have been the foundation of her long and rewarding career.
Outside of the classroom, Gail enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and bowling.




Makenzie Perdue is a substitute teacher at Wicomico Day School. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has completed an internship at an elementary school. Currently a first-year college student, she is working toward her degree in Elementary Education. Makenzie enjoys working in a variety of classrooms, building relationships with students, and supporting their learning and growth throughout the school day.
