Miss Mackenzie started working at WDS in 2021. She has a daughter that attends WDS. Miss Mackenzie can be found in our Infant classroom.

Miss Ereka is an Infant Teacher who is passionate about creating a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. She loves helping young children learn and grow through dancing, singing, reading, and plenty of love and encouragement. Her goal is to provide a warm and supportive space where every child feels safe, valued, and cared for.

Jensen is a dedicated teacher and mother who understands the importance of providing a nurturing and caring environment for young children. She loves watching one-year-olds' unique personalities emerge, from their joyful giggles to their growing sense of independence. Jensen strives to create a warm, loving classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged as they learn, grow, and explore the world around them.

Kylie majored in Early Childhood at Del Tech and began working in our Pre-school classrooms in 2022. Kylie cheered for seven years and currently enjoys playing Pickleball! 

Kearra Holland is an Infant and Toddler Teacher who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their early development. She enjoys being part of each child's early learning journey and is dedicated to creating a caring, supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow.

Keirsten Budd has been a valued member of the Wicomico Day School community for nine years. She enjoys working with students and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Outside of school, Keirsten enjoys reading, traveling, and doing puzzles. During the summer, she loves spending time at the beach and going paddle boarding, taking advantage of every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Taylor has been with WDS since May 2025. Taylor's gentle and pleasant demeanor makes her a great fit in our Infant and Toddler classrooms.

Makayla has been working with children since high school and has been a part of the Wicomico Day School community for the past two years. She has a genuine passion for working with children and finds great joy in being part of their growth and development.

Makayla loves watching children learn new skills, build confidence, and develop their unique personalities. She appreciates their curiosity, honesty, and sense of wonder as they explore the world.

Jai has worked at Wicomico Day School for a year and has been in the childcare field for almost 11 years. In 2024, she earned her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about working with children and believes that young learners grow best through play, especially hands-on sensory experiences.

Her goal is to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to come to school each day. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Tomeka Jones has been a valued member of the Wicomico Day School community for four years. During her time at WDS, she has worked with students across a variety of age groups, from Room 0 through School Age programs. Tomeka enjoys supporting children at every stage of their development and helping create a positive, caring environment where they can learn and grow.

Laynea is excited to be a part of the Wicomico Day School community. She is passionate about fostering a positive and supportive environment where children can thrive both academically and personally. Laynea focuses on encouraging growth not only in early learning skills but also in confidence, kindness, and curiosity.

She believes that every child deserves to feel valued, safe, and encouraged each day. Laynea looks forward to contributing to a successful and rewarding school year while helping her students learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Ms. Ca-Cea Henry brings 21 years of experience in early childhood education to Wicomico Day School. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.

Her teaching philosophy centers on meeting children where they are, recognizing that every child develops and learns at their own pace. Ms. Henry is dedicated to creating a caring, engaging environment where each child feels valued, confident, and excited to explore the world around them. She is grateful for the opportunity to nurture and support each child, helping them blossom and reach their fullest potential.

Emma McLaughlin is a Pre-K 3 teacher at Wicomico Day School. She graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a certification in Special Education. Emma is passionate about creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom where students can learn, explore, and grow through play.

She finds great joy in watching her students discover new skills, build confidence, and develop a love of learning throughout the school year. Emma is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging environment where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Sarah Thomas is a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has more than eight years of experience working with children ages 3 to 8 and is passionate about helping young learners grow and succeed. A Salisbury native, Sarah enjoys reading, taking walks, and spending time at the beach with friends and family. She is excited to be working with K3 students this year and looks forward to creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for her students.

Shannon Weygandt has been a dedicated member of the Wicomico Day School community since 2002. Originally from Pennsylvania, she relocated to the Eastern Shore in 2002, where she lives with her husband.

Throughout most of her time at WDS, Shannon has worked with preschool-aged children. She enjoys helping young learners grow and develop, finding great fulfillment in watching them discover new skills and reach important milestones. Shannon loves that every day brings new experiences and opportunities for learning, both for her students and herself.

Kayla recently joined our WDS team in March 2026 and is working in our pre-K classrooms. 

Nadine Davis-Graves is the Lead Teacher in Preschool Room 8 and has been teaching for more than five years. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow through imagination, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Nadine holds an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood, a Director’s License, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Her goal is to create a fun and engaging classroom environment where curiosity thrives and every child feels inspired to explore the world around them. Nadine is dedicated to fostering a love of learning while helping each child build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential

Amber Salisbury is in her second year teaching K4 and her third year as a member of the Wicomico Day School community. She attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.

Amber is also a proud WDS parent. Her son, Colton, is currently in first grade at WDS. Having grown up on a farm, she has always loved animals and enjoys anything related to them. She is excited to share her enthusiasm for learning and help her students grow throughout the school year.

Elle Weber has spent the past decade teaching preschool at Wicomico Day School, where she combines creativity with the Core Knowledge curriculum to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. She is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, Elle encourages her students to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning..
